This year's Sausalito Halloween Parade will be held on Monday, October 31.
Halloween Parade
The parade is open to everyone, even if you don't have a costume. To participate, just come to the corner of Johnson and Caledonia streets at 5:45 p.m. and line up behind the Southern Marin Fire District's fire engine. The parade will get started at 6:00 p.m.
Trick or Treat Lane
Caledonia Street will be closed while the parade makes its way north to Robin Sweeny Park. In addition to spooky decorations and costumes, merchants and residences along the street will have candy to give to trick or treaters. Free reusable trick or treat bags will be available at the start of the parade.
There will be more trick or treating (and more free trick or treat bags) after the parade at Trick or Treat Lane on the Robin Sweeny Park basketball courts.
Howl’O’Ween Dog Costume Contest
The dog costume contest will get underway in the park at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for best little dog, best big dog, and best couple (human and dog).
Haunted House
Also not to be missed will be the Haunted House in the Game Room on the lower level of City Hall. Creepy clowns will lead guided tours from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
